Ok i picked this game up last night and was aparently very lucky since it was the last copy of it in the store. I haven't played through the entire game yet but here is my impression of it so far.
Ok this game is the sequel to what i would have to say is a cult classic game called Fatal Frame. Which orgnially came out for the PS2. Now for those of you that haven't heard of these games before heres a quick over view. Basiclly its a survival horror game with an twist. In stead of the same old shooting zombies and blowing up dead bodies you have to fight ghost with a camera. Yeah i know it sounds kind of silly and lame but its actually really cool. The other thing that sets this apart from the other games in the genre is that the story telling is that of those japanese horror films (ie. The Ring and The Grudge) So basically if you like those types of films, which i do, then you will most likely enjoy this game
Story:
Basically the story revolves around these twin girls (Mio and Mayu) that are visiting a childhood place in the woods where they would use to play before the area gets flooded with the building of a new damn. So while they are there Mayu wonders off following some crimson buterflies, as the other sister trys to run her down and stop her she suddenly finds herself in a dark forest at the gates of a lost village where her sister is waiting for her. So basically this village is one that disapeared and all those that get lost in the woods are captured by the village. Now its up to the girls to find out what happen in this mysterious village and find their way out.
Game Play:
Being special as we xbox gamers are, we get the special Directors Cut version of the game. Which by far really makes its worth checking out. This new xbox version of the game gives up some updated graphics as well as a couple of new game play modes not available for the PS2 fanboys out there. One is the unlockable Survival Mode where its just onslaught of ghost after ghost. And the other is the FPS Mode. Now i have started playing the game in both the orginal 3rd person mode as well as the new FPS mode. And i find that the FPS mode is a hell of a lot more scarier since you have to reley on your hearing rather than your eyes, really makes you feel like you are in a haunted village. Its controls i think are much better thought out as far as moving and using the camera. And you can usally catch things that you don't normally see right away in the 3rd person mode. But you can also miss little ghost apearences in this mode if you don't turn around fast enough.
Sound:
By far one of the best features in the game. From hearing whispers in the dark to the pounding of the heart beat which in most cases you will find matching yours. This is really evendent when playing in FPS mode since you have to rely on your ears for locating where ghost are going to apear next. There is no sound track to the game except for the ending criedits from what i hear, but who listens to rock music as you wander through a rotting house LOL. But the sound effects of ghost as well as just moving around the area are well done. Voice acting is great as well.
Graphics:
Very well done indeed. You tend to see more detail in the FPS mode than you do in the 3 person view but you see more of the enviroment in the 3rd person view. Either way i think most fans of the game will be playing through the game in both modes just to be sure to take in everything that is possible.
Controls:
Like i said before i think the controls for the game were better thought out in the FPS mode than in the orgnial 3 person view. If you play in the orgnial mode you will find the controls needing some getting use to, exspecaily in the combat modes where you are using the camera. Aparently they desided to reverse the the movement controls on the anolog sticks where left is to look and right is to move. So you might find yourself aiming for the ground or celling when you want to move instead. But in the FPS mode the control are like they should be. So basically its feels just like halo except for the auto center that takes place when looking up or down.
Pros:
Great sound effects, love the FPS mode, i like the picture taking aspect of it makes it challenging. Great voice acting, the graphics and lighting keep it dark and creepy making you feel like you are really there. Extra unlockables.
Cons:
Controls in orgnial mode need some getting use to. The ghost aren't all entirely challenging when you get their timing down. FPS mode you might miss events that you normally wouldn't in 3rd person mode. In 3 person mode you have less detail and you tend to miss seeing where items are if they aren't the in the camera direct view.
Overall:
Going out on a limb here but i say 8 out of 10 and at least worth the rent if you have never played the series before. A must buy for any fan of the series, with mass improvements such as unlimited film to fight ghost and extra modes.
Yeah its been awhile and all. I got back from san diego last weds night. Sorry i haven't blogged at all. So here's whats been going on in the past few days. Ok first off thrusday morning i got up and headed down into town to trade in the gift my mom got me. (Her and my grandmother got me the exact same thing) So i went down into town in the rain and traded the graphic tablet for the Witch Hunter Robin compelet set. and also picked up the game "The Urbs". After the long walk home i just sat down and relaxed a little bit here at home. Turned out the next morning that walking in the rain after and exausting trip home from san diego wasn't a good idea. I ended up being sick friday and all day saturday. And for some strange reason it would seem that every year on new years day i end up getting sick from eirther a cold or drinking or smoking to much. Its been like that since i first moved out to my own place when i lived in san diego. Well basicaly i had caught a cold and had eaten some soup that apparently something in the soup didn't agree with me. I spent most of news night throwing up every couple of hours. Not the funnest of times. Spent most of saturday sleeping and trying to feel better. Thank god that its all over now though. Woke up about 7am this morning feeling great execpt for a few body aches and pains here and there. But i guess its like the pentance i pay every year for all the bad things that i have done. So hopefully this year i can stay and the straight and narrow path and not follow the rutein of getting sick on new years.
Other than that my trip down to san diego was great. I got to see my best friend again and hang out, he ended up getting me a great gift and all. Found a "legend of zelda" shirt at hot topic. Yeah its kind of geeky but it was really cool. Pretty much got tons of great stuff from my family, no shirts and ties, LOL so it would seem i am not so invisable after all. Well anyways it was good times hanging out with family and all. When i got home weds though i was kind of pissed when i checked our messages on our phone. There were 5 messages 4 for me 1 for my mom. Apparently my manager and the assistant manager didn't listen to me when i told them i was going out of town for week. They called me 4 times asking me where i was, that i really need to go to the next meeting, that i should call in for PDI and what not. Honestly i have to say i was not pleased with the situation. When i called in on friday they appoligized about the phone calls after they realized i was gone. I haven't told them that i was thinking about quiting yet because there is still money to be made with cutco but not as quickly as i would have liked. Next week i am going back into town and i am going to start applying for jobs that are more local. Because i need to focus on what my reason were for leaving san diego was in the frist place. Job, Car, School. When i look back at the work i have done at cutco it was a good experence but its not getting me anywhere. So wiether its fast food or having 2-3 jobs i have to get a car and i have to beable to start school come next fall or i have just wasted another year of my life dicking around. So those three things are going to be my driving force this year. And i will sucessed in those things.
Well i guess i have been carrying this load for awhile and i figure before i go down to san diego i better get all this off my chest. As some of you know i really don't like this time of year because i always get depressed about how my family doesn't really see me and all, well thats not all that has been getting me down lately. Since my local cutco office has moved its been harder to get work in the area, and i have been getting heat from my mom about having to drive out to Renton every week. Not only that the lack of work around here has also made xmas a little bit tighter than usal. Well to be prefectly honest i don't even have the money to pay my bills this month.
Last friday i went down to the office for the xmas party they have there. Well i got crap from my mom about going up there because it was a socail event and no a work event, and the fact that i made brownies and didn't give her any pissed her off. They were for the party not for us. But then again my mom is a bit crazy who knew she would flip out over such little crap. She has been like this all month too. Well anyways i went to the party and i ended up regreting going. Its an hour away i felt like i was baby sitting the loser you see at clubs that just stand on wall and watch everyone else. Sorry to say, they are all cool in there own right just like everyone else in the world but everyone is to high strung to party. And the fact that only a couple are over 21 we couldn't drink either. So basicly i felt like i was in seventh grade locked in a room full of greeks, rich boys, and snobs. Not very comfortable. Well then we had a "white elephant" gift giving. I don't know why its called that but its just another version of secret santa, just more random though. Well the price cap was 5 dollars a gift and believe me all the gifts were pretty crapy except for the starbucks card and the Hard Rock Cafe San Diego shot glass that i put in the pool of gifts to give away. Well when all was done i got the starbucks card and the guy that got my shot glass was happy and all but broke it 5 mins later in the parking lot and then put the broken pieces behind a bush. And its not like he hid it there to hide it from me he just didn't want to find a trash can. I was also kind of hurt since its obovious that a shot glass isn't $5 and that its a hard rock cafe one which most people consider collectables. And he just broke it and laughed about it and tossed it aside. Oh well though what can i expect from a guy that then desided to do his raver show of spining to fireballs at the end of a rope to a crapy trance song. I got to say it made me feel like it was 1999 but not in a cool way. I just felt like this was the worst party ever, the food sucked there were no drinks, no missletoe, and everyone just talked about work. God i really dislike that place and that group of people.
Well after that fiasco and all i came home and had my own little party with some bacardie and coke. Man that felt good considering i haven't had a drink of real liquir in since i left san diego back in febuary. Well i ultimately deside that things have to change, so when i get back from san diego i am going down into town to find a local job that will pay bi-weekly and hourly, wiether it be fast food or hopefully at the local car dealership, which i am hopeing for, i just need a change. I honestly think i got screwed by my old boss for just ditching everyone here in silverdale. Sadly to say i am the only one who has stayed on as long as i have. Everyone else dropped out a while back. But either way it was a fun experence while it lasted. And hopefully the cutco sales will help me land a job at a car dealership or some other sales position.
Either way when i look at the past year and all the changes i made, i all i did was spend a year goofing off and wasting time. Well this next year is going to be different. I am going to get a better job, i am going to get my own place by the end of spring and i am going to make sure i get myself in school by the fall. If i can't even do these simple things in a year then i am doing nothing but wasteing time. So i guess you can say that those are my new years resulution but i am going to have to stick to these if i ever want to get my honor back. Well i feel better now that i have gotten that all off my chest so thanks for listening if you did.
Well tuesday i will be leaveing bright and early to go down to san diego and spend xmas with the family and friends i have down there. Hopefully the weather isn't to bad in the mountains and all. The one good thing is that the weather will be warmer down there than it is up here and the sun won't be setting at 4pm either. I might be able to find some time to blog while i am down there. As long as i can pry my brother in law off his computer long enough. Well anyways happy holiday to everyone. Later Days.

Ok this here isn't my first memory of my life but its one of the few that i have from early childhood.
I was born in chicago but shortly after my family moved to virgina. Now i don't know if it was portsmith virgina or some other naval base since i only remeber 1 house there and i am told that we lived in 2 different house while we lived in virgina. But anyway this is one of the adventures i had as kid while living there. We lived on a Naval base of course and navy families are ussally friendly to each other. There was a kid next door that i use to play with a lot when i was there but during the spring i didn't go over there as much because his/her (I don't know if it was a girl or a boy that lived there, old age is catching up with me LOL) house was constanly surround by ducks and their ducklings. Now thats not exactly a bad thing but it just so happen that these families of ducks that use to swarm this house wern't exactly friendly to passer buyers that came to look at them walk around with there little duckling following them. I don't know what it was but i was like 5 years old so i thought watching ducks do there thing was cool at the time. But also being 5 i wanted to touch one of the baby ducks and see how soft they were. So i desided to pick up stick for some protection incase i ended up with an army of ducks trying to attack me. So i walked very slowly towards the swarm of ducks with my trusty stick in hand ready to fend off any attacking ducks.
To say the least i was very surprised that i got as far as i did. I ended up with tons of duckling all around me doing there thing just walking around and the parent ducks just walking around eating whatever random food they could find. Then suddenly they all just stopped in their tracks. It was as if time froze. Even i was frozen in mid-step. The mother duck just looked amd as did all the other duckling and then i felt fear start to bubble deep in my gut. For some reason i looked down to see that right under the foot that was frozen in mid air in my mid-step was a little duckling. Thats when i thought to myself "Oh No, they think i am a threat to them." I looked back at the mother duck that was eyeing me and seeing me as this gaint about to crush one of her young. I took one step back making sure i didn't step on anyone and then i heard the loudest and most rapid Quacking i have ever heard. It would appear the mother duck had lunged for me, trying to attack me to defend her young. Well being a 5 year old i took off running like crazy screaming as this killer duck chased me. And just as i turned around to see if she was still chasing me i saw her jump and fly right at me with her bill pointed at me like a spear. But luckly for me as i turned around i swung the stick i held firmly in hand like a sword defending from a stabing apponent and basicaly wacked the duck right on her bill. She stopped kind of dazed and i kept on running away jumped up into this little apple tree we had in our front yard. I turned around to face the ducks again after i was in the tree to find the mother duck waddling back to her young quacking to herself, as if crusing about the stupid kid that hit her on the beak/bill with a stick.
To say the least i stayed away from ducks for the next couple of years seeing how violent they can be. But damn i have to say that was the first time i had ever felt the addrenline running and feared for my life. But then again i was five so really thought an angry bird could kill me, specially after seening the movie "Birds" But i am not afraid of ducks or anything but that was my first adventure, and first bruch with danger.
Well i just picked up the new linkin park/Jay Z mini album called collision course. And i have to say for 10 bucks (Target) it was a very good buy. The package contained not only a cd with the 6 new remixed songs but also a dvd with the making of album as well as the live proformance that the band put on at the roxy theater in Cali. So i have to say its a really good buy, as long as you pay 10 bucks for it i guess. I am sure everyone has heard the "Encore" Song that has been getting a ton of air time on all the radio stations not to mention MTV as well. Well that there is one of the best songs on the album but i have to say that i kind of like all of them alot. But if i had to pick a favorite song on the album it would the Jigga What/Faint song. I think that song rocks alot since it starts out with the slow hip hop beat of jigga what and then the fast and power rock sound of Faint kicks in and just pumps up the room when you listen to it. Well anyws i have to say this is a great Xmas gift for anyone out there that likes Rap and Rock, or anyone that is a fan of the 2 artist involed. So i say go out there and buy buy buy. It worth the money. Ok thats all for now. I am working on putting together a very good personal note here but i am still working out all the details of how i should go about it so stay tuned and find out shortly
I am the kind of person that really likes the Xmas season but i also hate the Xmas season. Let me explain.
I like the fact that people are nicer and kinder durning this time of year. I like the weather and xmas lights on houses and decorations around towns its all very very nice. What i don't like is buying gifts for my family. Now i know that sounds really selfish and all but i have good reason. I like buying gifts and makeing gifts for friends but for my family its a different matter. The reason i just hate getting them gifts is because first of all if i spend a 100 bucks on each of them but forget a card i get dirty looks and complaints for not buying them a xmas card. I mean they make it seem like they were waiting all year just to read the damn xmas card. The other reason is that i am great gift giver. I found out what people need and what they might want but never expect to get and get for them. I do this because always liked the feeling of being surprised with a gift that i didn't ask for but is something i really needed. It just shows that some people really care. But the reason i don't like buying gifts for my family is simple. If i ask for what i want i never get it. Example: Video games, computer parts, cameras equipment. The stuff i don't need but would like. The stuff i need i never get unless i draw out a plan. I tried really hard this year to be mean and not tell anyone what i wanted to xmas so i could see what they would buy for me. But i gave everyone a way out. I told them that i need some ties and dress shirts. But to my saddness everyone is asking me what my shirt size is an neck size. So i am sure i am going to get nothing but shirts and ties this year. Which is something i really do need but its hard to act greatful and surprised when you know what you are getting from people. And i know some people are going to just give me gift cards, which i have to say is the worst gift to give anyone, family or friends. Cash or gift cards just means you didn't want to put the effort in to figure out what that person might want.
The only thing i am really happy about is seeing my friends in San Diego again. And i know they will apprecate my gifts more. And its not like i am spending tons of money on them and not on my family, the fact is that i am probably buying like one gift an making some others. But the difference is that they will be both surprised and happy to get them as well as having great gifts for me that will probably surpise the hell out of me too.
But in all honesty i will be happier when this giving season is over. Because i think it sucks more to get a thoughtless gift rather than not getting anything at all. Well to see exactly what happens i have laid lots of hints on other items to get me. I have constantly complained about the fact that my tv is busted and i need new one, but i doubt i get that, i have requested for the IPOD but i doubt i get that. (I mean they won't even pull together to just all pitch in a get me one. I told them that would be fine if thats all i get for Xmas this year) My video game collection is in plain view so if my mom would take the time to look it over she might be able to find out what games i like and pick one up. Hell to tell the truth if she bought me a crappy game i would be surprised because he never buys me games. And to tell the truth she already game me something last week that would have been perfect for xmas. She was digging through her boxes from japan and gave me 4 disk set of how to speak japanese, for my PC and a book about all the history and cultural things in Japan. Those things were really cool and i told her so but she just seem to figure she was making use of things she thought she wasted money on from not using it. Oh well i guess it just shows how blind people in my family are, or just how invisable i am to them eh. LOL oh well
Ok well i just got done watching this anime and thought i would write a review about it since i thought it was done rather well. And don't worry i won't spoil anything for you if you haven't seen it yet.
Well to start off i found that this anime was like a breath of freash air since in the anime industry there is a ton of crap and very few great shows. But i am happy to say that i think Last Exile is one of those great shows. So heres what i thought.
Animation:
I have to say that the animation quailty is very high and very well done. They use a lot of the newer ditigal technolgy in the animation process for this show. But the good thing is that unlike Blue Subnarine 6 (Another digital animation project) the digtial animation and the normal cell animation blends perfectly. So you don't have scenes that cut from the normal cartoon look to this extremely fake looking digital effect that pulls you out of the story because its so distracting. So like i said they pulled off the combination of the animation technics perfectly. So its just beautifully rendered. The scenerary of the world where the story takes place is breath takeing as well. This world reminds me alot of the air pirate game called "Skys of Arcadia" or some final fantasy fans would probly relate it more to the air ships used in those games. But either way it still looks great.
Characters:
Now this has to be the shining point of this anime. Lots of shows out there only focus on the plot and action. Last Exile has scenes in the story that still make all the charaters human and no cartoony invinsable types. From the goal driven Claus and Lavi to the childish quirks of the character Alvis. They even give you the explaination of the stoic Commander of a powerful war ship. I would have to say the most memoriable part that i like the best in this character development was the little girl Alvis. There is a scene where she finds a toy goat that moos when tipped sides ways. They really captured the logic of how children figure things out with this scene. The little girl was trying to figure out how it made a sound and in stead of just tipping the toy over she tips her whole body to one side as the toy comes to life. Now thats just a small scene but it reminds us all of how cute children can be and how we were as children. Being amazed by the simple things.
Sound:
Now the Voice acting on th english side of things was done really well. I think as far as talent goes for dubbing this anime films it must be a small job pool since you can reconigze most voice actors from other works they have done. But this is not to say that their voices are distracting from the plot. They still all deliver the charcaters well. As for the Japanese voice on the other hand they all work pretty well expect for one character that you might have a hard time figuring out if he is a girl or a boy at first because the voice is so feminen. As for the battle scenes and other action sequences it sounds great. Everything works quite well together in this animation master piece. I also have to add the the soundtrack to this show is masterful. I infact bought the soundtrack before even seeing the entire show.
Story:
Ok the story here is basically about 2 vanship (A two man air craft) pilots that are basically messengers. That find themselves caught up in a huge conflic and becomeing part of a crew on a legendary mercenary ship. Through their journey they find out what Exile is and how their friend, a little girl named Alvis, is connected to it. As well as finding out about the secrets hidden in their past. From fighting air ship battles with friends and foe to taking on the what people believe to be the rulers of their world. The two pilots, Claus and Lavi take to the sky to for fill their dreams. So thats basically the summary of the story but believe me their are tons of plot twist and turns to keep you intrested in this 26 episode adventure. As far as the dynamics of the story go, it was well writen and presented wonderfully. You might find a scene or two where you are asking what happened and why is this person looking upset but things come into clearity as the story progresses. But to tell the truth there was only one scene that had me asking questions like that and my questions were answered fairly quickly after they were posed. So over all its done nicely. I will have to say that the ending did seem rushed a little but it still fits the story line.
Overall:
If you have the connections to find it on the internet they i highly suggest doing so, or you can find the box set at places like Best Buys and Suncoast. But it will cost you a pretty penny though. And you have to be carful of those big boxes that only have one DVD in them. Other than that like i said this is a great show to watch if you like anime and its one of the few that are great to experence if you have never watched anime before and just want to check it out. And on a side note i just want to say that liking anime does not mean that i dress up as cartoon characters every year at halloween or that i am some crazyed fan the does nothing but talk about it. I just find the story telling and visuals very amazing and in most times more compelling that the live action films that are out there. So if you are one of those people that think anime is childish and foolish at least check this one out. From the visuals to the music I am sure you won't be disapointed.
Ok happy turkey day even though its a day late. Sorry about that. A lot has been going on lately. Ok i will start with last week. I went and did my first Home/Product Fair/Show thing. It was pretty good and all. I got a couple of leads on a few people that want a full demo and a couple of people that need sharping. So over all a great day. I also striaghten my hair to so it looks really different now as well. I will post a picture of it as soon as i find my camera. Well after the show i asked my partner out to lunch and so we went. Finally was able to find out more about this chick besides the fact that she loves her job. I have to say for someone as shy as she is around the office and all she really does have quite a crazy past with going to raves and having expereced some drugs i would never even touch. So perrty crazy indeed. Overall a good time. But i did find out what i wanted to find out though, and that was that she is a nice girl but not the type i would want to date. She is just a little to picky for my taste. Not to mention she has relationship issues and all. But i am not going to dive into that. Basically she is a cool friend and thats where i am going to leave it, for now. Well thats what happen last thrusday.
On saturday i had to go down to portland for a big divsion meeting. To say the least i really didn't want to go to this thing but it turned out it was worth it. After words i was a lot more motavated to go out there and work my ass off. And i even found a super big goal that i have to accomplish. So now i have all the driving force i need to get up off my ass and work. The ride back was what i would say was the most fun though. Since i was riding back with the chick i had lunch with and a good friend of mine in the office. It was just funny to see him hit on this other girl that was riding with us. And the oonversation was really good as well. From crazy stories of me and my friends back in cali to the music we all like. And the ocationall "...They told everyone she had a penus..." we heard from the back seat. So lots of laughs and good times.
Now on to thanksgiving. I was really bummed that the bears lost the game. I saw the 4th quarter interception and desided that it wasn't worth my time to watch them lose once again. The turkey was great as was the rest of the food my mom had made. I have to say i did enjoy every bit of it as did my cat that was doing tricks and begging by the table. But i finally did fill her dish with some turkey. Very strange though is that i found out that she only likes Dark meat from the bird she didn't like the white. Who would of though a cat would be that picky when it came to eatting a bird. LOL oh well i hope everyones Turkey day was great.
Ok sorry i haven't blogged in a few days, i know i am due for one. But unfortantly i can't go into detail right now. So heres the summerary. Thursday had a fair/show i did with one of the chicks in our office, Basiclly had a cutco table set up inside of staples. And i have also straightened my hair. I will have pics up shortly. Also burned the hell out of my head when i striaghtened it. But i will explain all that later. Right now i am dead tired, from what i don't know i have been tired all day, i guess my body is healing or something. Oh well and tomorrow i have to go down to portland for a huge divsion meeting that honestly i really rather not go. but i have to. Ok later days for now i am going to go to sleep.
Well last wed. i went to my weekly team meeting down at the office. Like always everything was kind of the same. Helping new reps get some of the basics down and hearing about so other prize we could win. Well after all that my boss asked me to come in thursday night for a phone jam (Which is basically a bunch of people go to the office at 7pm and make phone calls to customers to set up appointments.) Well i wasn't planing on doing all my phone calls at night but i said what the hell why not. So thrusday night i go down to the office like i was asked to do a phone jam. Well for the 5th time since i have worked here i was called down to the office and no one was there. Called the boss to find out that he just forgot once again. To tell the truth this really pisses me off because i rearranged my scheule for it and was stood up. But it what really pisses me off is that there is never a good excuse. I don't know what type of work ethic he learned for this company but i know that when i say i am going to do something i better do it. And showing up late to appointment or events is completely disrespectful to those that were waiting for you. I guess what really gets me is the fact that the first i was told when i got to this company was to show up 15 min early at least. Because its professional and the proper thing to do. But really what type of message is it really sending when the boss of the office doesn't follow that rule.
Oh well, later this week i have a fair/show to do. My first one so it will be kind of wierd but i have a veterian in the field working with me on this one. So it shouldn't be to bad. Then right after that we have a big divsion meeting down in portland. Now i know that these meetings are important, and i am sure i will learn at least one new thing while i am down there but after almost 6 months with working with this company i find that i don't really like the people in it all that much. Seriously, they all seem like they are brain washed and all want to talk about work. Or it could be because the company promotes gloating and bragging about ones accoplishments. Which i guess its fine and dandy but i really could care less about winning trophies and awards. I just like to work for the sake of working. And to tell the truth i really don't like being showed cased as a prised peice in the bosses collection when it comes to the high sales i get. Honestly i wish i could just work and get my pay check without people always getting into my business. I guess that kind of sounds lonerish and loserish eh. Now some might say that if i am not happy then i should find another job. But the fact of the matter is that i am happy with the work i do. I just don't like being around childish people that think they are better than me because they are younger and have sold more.
Now perhaps thats a jaded view on it and perhaps i am taking their gloating the wrong way. But honestly i was raised to understand hummility, and where i am from when ever we here people bragging we always pointed out how pointless it was to brag about it. I guess kind of the agression one feels when someone keeps telling you about their nice new car that you don't have. I guess though since the money is good and the work is fun i will have to put up with the company i am surround with untill i am done getting what i want. I guess deep down the real issue is that i don't like being manipulated or used as someone elses tool. My boss has plans for me to be the Assitant manager of the office, and then possible become a Distric manager. Which is nice and dandy, but i am not a lifer in this business. I have my own dreams to fill that have nothing to do with the sales disivion in the work field. Oh well i am done ranting later days
Well everyone sorry that i haven't been around i have been having problems with the cable company and my internet. They kept taking their sweet ass time with coming out to my house to fix it. But finally i have gotten it fixed and i am back in action. So sorry if anyone out there has come by to see that there is no updates.
Also the other reason i have been MIA is because of course the release of Halo 2. And i have to say this game was worth every dime spent on it. Not only a great game but a great record breaker as well. This summer the last harry potter movie came out. It grossed a total of 90 million dollars in its first weekend. Thats 3 days of sale. Well this video game, Halo 2, made 2.4 million in one day. Thats unbelievable. No game or movie has ever made that much money in one day.
Well i voted today. Me and my mom went down to the local junior high school and voted. Only thing that doesn't make sence is why it takes some people so long to vote. I mean its not like its a 150 question test. Well anyways i cast my vote for what i thought would be in the best intress of the country and all. Not to mention my state. So hope you all went out there as well and voted. Because you can't bitch if you don't vote.
Hey some people say you can tell alot about someone from their windows/Mac Desktop. So i figure i would post mine up here and if you guys want you can send me images of your desktops and i will have a gallery of them on the blog here. Ok Later Days.
Well after about 5 hours of being off line i was finally able to ghetto rig my wireless connection again. I don't know what happened all i know is that all our wireless connection in my house dropped out. Then finally i got my xbox back online and then i got my PC back to. But my moms lap top is still KIA. So we are trying to fix that right now. But unfortantly she is using windows ME and i saddly have to say i don't know my way around that OS very well. So hopefully she can fix it herself. And before you ask, yes i have tried to up grade her computer to XP but it says it doesn't have the right compoents in it to upgrade. Oh well.

For those of you that are pet owners, do you let you pets see you in the nude?
Better yet if you were with your loved one and were about to get it on and then noticed your pet starring at you would you let them watch or would you kick them out of the room? LOL
Well i am about to crash soon. Its been a very busy week so far. Monday and tuesday i had to go to the college to recruit some people into the business as well as do some service calls each night. Luckly i don't have to recruit people tomorrow so i get to sleep in. But i do have to do another service call tomorrow night as well as thursday night. And one chick is giving me the run around. She was suppose to set up a demo for saturday but said she wanted to check with her husband real quick. I called back in 10-15 mins and no one anwsered the phone. So either they were getting it on or they desided to let the phone ring thinking i would give up. But i won't of course i am going to call her tomorrow and get that damn demo set up. So hopefully i will be able to blog again this week. Right now i am working on making an online radio station so when i figure that all out i will be sure to let you guys know about it. Ok later days.
Well aparently the game gods are angry at the new that the biggest video game of the year, "Halo 2" has been leaked on the internet. So much so that bungie has threaten anyone that post on their site's forums any information leading the leak info or spoilers will be banned and not just from their web site. They are going to ban players gamertags from accessing Halo 2 online. So i guess this means they mean business. Well now the big question on everyone's mind is how did this happen. Everyone thought that the Bungie headquaters were sealed up tighter than a brand new inmates asshole at a fredral prison. Well its true it was sealed up tight. But i guess the masterminds of bungie just didn't think about securing one area oh the games production. The major idea on how the game go out is that some moron pocketed a copy while in the packing. Funny how they had the up most security to protect from hackers getting in the system and stealing it but never thought that the minium wage average joe outside waiting to put the game in a box and send it on its way would put one in his pocket. Who figured. LOL damn nerds overthink everything and forget about the simple things. Well anyways the game is out there to download. It won't work on xbox live so don't even try it. In fact if you do try it i wouldn't be surprised if it links to your gamertag and you find yourself banned from the system. Oh well thats the information tech news for today. Enjoy your weekend and see you on monday.
So i was flipping throught the channels the other day and happened upon MTV. To my surprise there was a music video on. And it was during the credits of some show it was just a music video. I guess they do still have some music programs on MTV now day, and here i thought it was all just drama's and reality tv shows. Well i happen to see this new pop singer, i say new because i have never heard of her or seen her before. But i don't watch a lot of MTV so i have no idea if she is really new or old. And don't aske me what her name was i don't remeber. But anyway it was some video with this chick and little Bow Wow. Well i noticed what the chick was wearing and it wasn't really extremely revieling, for someone in their 20's that is, but for her she looked like she was only 16. First thing that came out of my mouth was wow her father lets her walk outside looking like that. I was surprised as soon as the words left my lips. I could remeber being younger and seeing britney spears or mandy more and likeing the fact that they would wear such revealing outfits and mini-skirts and dance all provocative. But man now watching a little kid do that just seems wrong. Made me thing that we are totally giving the wrong message to the youth out there. But then again what do i know. Here i am talking like i am an old man when many of you are older than me. All i am saying is it just seemed wierd. Oh well.
My names Atomsk and i like to RAMBLE.....
Oh yeah had another wierd dream last night perhaps i will blog it later.
Hmm i had thought of a very good topic to disscuss here early today. It was something to do with women and the video game industry and something else. Damn it sucks that i completely forgot. Because i knew it was going to stir some conversation up too. Oh well i guess you will have to settle for a cartoon.
We always hear"the rules" from the female side. Now here are the rules from the male side. These are our rules! Please note...these are all numbered "1" ON PURPOSE!
1. Learn to work the toilet seat. You're a big girl. If it's up, put it down. We need it up, you need it down. You don't hear us complaining about you leaving it down.
1. Sunday sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.
1. Shopping is NOT a sport. And no, we are never going to think of it that way.
1. Crying is blackmail.
1. Ask for what you want. Let us be clear on this one: Subtle hints do not work! Strong hints do not work! Obvious hints do not work! Just say it!
1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.
1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That's what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.
1. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.
1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument. In fact, all comments become null and void after7 days.
1. If you won't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't expect us to act like soap opera guys.
1. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don 't ask us.
1. If something we said can be interpreted two ways and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one.
1. You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself.
1. Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials.
1. Christopher Columbus did not need directions and neither do we.
1. ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is.
1. If it itches, it will be scratched. We do that.
1. If we ask what is wrong and you say "nothing," we will act like nothing's wrong. We know you are lying, but it is just not worth the hassle.
1. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.
1. When we have to go somewhere, absolutely anything you wear is fine...Really.
1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as baseball, the shotgun formation, or monster t rucks.
1. You have enough clothes.
1. You have too many shoes.
1. I am in shape. Round is a shape.
1. Thank you for reading this. Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight; but did you know men really don't mind that? It's like camping.
About time we get these out. LOL
just thought i would post my new sig here for the hell of it.
